GAHHHH I'm SO sick of hearing about Hollister and Abercrombie...they're cheaply made clothes that all look the same. Why does everyone think those stores are sooo cool.

I wear designer clothes, Chanel, Gucci, Bebe, Marc Jacobs, Juicy Couture...sure they're a lot more money, but the clothes are better made, fit better, and there is WAY more style. I mean you dont see models walking around in Hollister (unless they're having a comfy day) because its BORING. Who agrees with me?

And I'm not saying everyone has to wear designer clothes, but at least if you can't afford it, why not shop around for more fashionable, original clothes?

And I like to be comfy sometimes, I mean on summer days when you're just chillaxing. But it there's a wholeeee other world out their of fashion besides Hollister! Lol. You can have some things from there but whats the harm in spicing up your wardrobe with other clothing.

Actually, Cheryl, people do look at clothes. They show who you are on the inside, its only a small part of who you are, but it is a part. Clothes give people first impressions, and trust me, people do notice what you are wearing. Maybe you don't notice it because you aren't that into fashion, thats ok...but a lot of people are.

I'm merely stating that people should have more originality and creativity, and I don't know how old you are...but Im in high school, and all the girls are like little sheep. And you said its not the first thing people talk about, when really...I'll be sitting in the cafeteria at school and I'll hear girls go, Ooooo I wear Hollister and Abercrombie...and its getting to the point wear I hear it EVERY DAY. As a model and an aspiring fashion designer, I like to see a girl who has a good, yet unique fashion sense. Theres nothing wrong with shopping at Hollister for a few thing...but these girls blantantly advertise that Hollister is the ONLY place they will shop.

OMG Thank you sooo very much for being one of the few people who DON"T like Hollister and Aber!! I get so tired hearing about their clothes or people posting q's in here going on about, "OMG don't you just love ______(insert cookie cutter clothing label here). I agree not everyone in the world has to splurge on designer labels, like you, but at least break up the blah everyone looks the same style of these stores!! And they do all look the same, I was at the mall to get a b-day gift for my sis-in-law's baby, and I couldn't believe it, each store has practically the same exact style. distressed stone wash jeans, polos, tops with 1980 something or that ridiculous vintage look or dumb sayings. headbands, tote bags in washed out pale colors, ugh, where is the originality?! If we were meant to dress the same there would be only one monochromatic style we all followed. I.e. medium blue wash jeans and blank white shirts. I might not be able to wear designer every day, but i sure as hell don't wear anything from those stores! I like to mix and match from a few of our little boutiques in the area, much more eclectic look and very stylish and chic! Thank you for not singing those stores praises!!! And for letting me express my thoughts!

what do you mean your so sick of hearing about hollister and abercrombie? how much is there to say about a clothing store? it's not like it's the first thing you want to talk about, noone cares what brand you wear. some people just like the look hco and a&f have. i think a lot of their stuff is cute but it's not like thats the only place i shop. if i see something i like i buy it- it could be at juicy couture or target. people have different tastes. and not everyone has all the time in the world to go to hunt down stores and find items noone else has. let alone spend so much money on what noone is going to care about. i'm pretty noone gives a crap if you wear designer clothes or how model-esque your clothes are. if you obsess to a certain extend over a tshirt you have issues. i'm not saying it's not okay to want to look good, i know i do. but it sounds to me like thats the only thing on your mind besides obsessing over what other people wear, and who wants someone like that?

Abercrombie have several comfort cloth, maybe that's why people love to wear that....

I agree with you, but people have their own opinion... when you willing to spend some extra money for clothes, it must be something prescious , right? ^ ^

i'm more like Gucci when Tom still there...but we'll see the next collection...
Can't wait for new collection from Marni too ^ ^

Because people who don't have enough money to buy designer clothes wear Hollister because it's the best. better than fried chicken on Sunday afternoon- indeed.

i know what you mean. like i'm not completely anti-hollister/abercrombie, but it does annoy me. i prefer stores like j.crew or gap. they have a classic fit and are very cute. i think abercrombie and hollister are kind of gross. the clothes are so tight and flatter very few people. i think people like them because the "preps" wear them. but the people wearing them classified as "preps" really aren't preps. they are just rich girls who think that because the stores are pricier than others, that makes them very in. i have seen a few cute clothes from the stores, but overall i think the quality isn't that great.

I SERIOUSLY agree. I mean, I used to wear abercrombie, but their clothes ripped soooo easily & were sooo thin. Chanel & Gucci are much better.

i'm an adamant believer that everyone should only wear loin clothes. Especially my friend's mom, she's hot.
