heeres a method i use
in honors classes each point is one higher so a 4 would be a 5

ok A=4
B=3
C=2
D=1
F=0
do that with all your classes not including gym and depending not your electives...
add them up and divide

You see the grades on a report card stand for diffrent numeric amounts. The A's stand for 4, The B's stand for 3, The C's stand for 2, The D's stand for 1, and the F's stand for 0. To find out your gpa you match the grades with these numbers, add them all up, and finally divide by the total number in all. So if you have 5 A's and a B u should have 3.83 with the last 3 repeating so you were close while ggoing over a little.

Close but if you are taking regular courses and no honors or AP classes your GPA should be 3.83 only if you are taking 6 classes.I hope it helps.A= 4 and B=3 C=2 D=1 F=0 and just add all your grades with the numbers and divide it by how many will sure help you.Keep up with the good job in school.

You can't really answer the question without knowing your actual transcript (ie like how many credits was the B and how many credits you have etc). But yeah a 3.89 sounds reasonable assuming your on a 4.0 scale
