the player you have may not support the file type, check what file type it is, most are avi nowadays. if so i use real player

Actually torrents are not illegal though what you may be downloading off the torrent could be, that said, unzip the file then make sure the file isn't damaged, after that find the correct program to play it on. Your default program may be microsoft media player or quicktime if it is and this doesn't support your file then right click it and change to play this with: and choose the program that works.

It depends on what type of file you downloaded in. When people put things on torrent they are in different types of files, i.e. RAR, Mp3 etc.. You have to have the software to unzip it for it work.

torrents are illegal.maybe that's a sign to stop downloading movies.

juts go and buy the DVD.like everyone else does/

check the format that file is placed under. You may just need a Codec or you may have to open a .rar file. There are alot of different formats these days besides .avi and .mpg
