Lol, honestly! This guy in my tennis class you walk buy him and it smells like he poured the whole bottle on him, and everyone talks about him and his overkill of this "manly scent". I mean, it smells good just its toooooo muuuuchhh WHAT TO DO!!!?? lol

Generally I find being subtle or giving clues to many guys is unlikely to get them to change. Next time you are talking to him, just tell him hime colgne smells nice but its way to strong. Let him know less is more.

straight up tell him. it's when someone really stinks that it's hard to tell them. just say "hey nice cologne...it smells good, but can ya tone it down a bit?" say it in a fun way that shows him that you all appreciate the effort but that it's a little overkill. he'll be good about it

Just be like.."hey you small great and all but can you lighten up on how much you put on?" haha..i dont know if he'll be affended or not but its worth a try. Just say it nicely but not in front of everyone.

drop a clue. say wow your cologne is really strong but it smells good. that gives a hint he hopefully will take.
