Try Todai in Cupertino. Main focus is obviously Japanese with sushi, rolls, seafood & other asian dishes (warm and cold). But they have a cool crepe station and all kinds of other goodies to enjoy. If it's your b-day, you get to eat free. I can't tell you that it's "great" or that you will absolutely LOVE it, but it's yummy and definitely worth a try :)

There is a place called Crazy Buffet on El Camino in Sunnyvale. Haven't tried it, but it is definitely intriguing! And then there is Sweet Tomatoes on Lawrence (near Costco).

The words "great" and "all you can eat" do not equate. Any place that manufactures huge quantities of food that sits out all day in heating trays cannot have "great" food, but I agree that Sweet Tomatoes is better than average and better than most salad bar places. I like their soups pretty well, and they put out fresh food all the time, including freshly baked muffins (try the chocolate chip) and cornbread.
