I had sex (not for the first time) on saturday and was lightly bleeding immediately after, and I've had spotting ever since. My period is due tomorrow, and I have been stressed this month, so it could be ovulation spotting and I'm just ovulating late, only I've never had ovulation spotting before, and I feel it has more to do with the sex, since it happened immediately after. I've heard of implantation spotting, too, but I hadn't had sex in about 2 weeks prior. Is there anything else it could be? If it was just rougher than usual it could tear, too, but would I still be spotting 4 nights later?

It could be that it was just sex that did it. It could be that you are starting your period now and are just really light. It wouldn't be implantation bleeding, so don't worry about that. Sometimes, girls who have sex for the first time can bleed for a few days after. If you are getting close to time to start, it could just be that sex disrupted your cervix enough that you are bleeding a little. Just watch it and if you are hurting, or feel like it isn't getting better, talk to your doctor. More then likely, it isn't anything to worry about.

Maybe your hymen is now completely broken, and wasn't before? Did you wear protection or are you on birth control? Wait and see if you get your period and if you're still regular. If you are, then maybe it was just caused by rough sex. If not, see a doctor or buy a pregnancy test.

Best of luck
