I love grocery shopping online. You can do it at 3 a.m. in your pjs if you like. You don't do impulse shopping so that makes up for the delivery fee. You can get it done in 30 minutes and they deliver it right to your kitchen.

I totally agree with you. And i do shop online in my pj's. But i like the feeling of going to the mall to shop for clothing. But the food, i'm very happy with the online method and will continue to use it.

Grocery store is definitely the old way, although I did try HomeGrocer one summer when my boys were little. But I use the loyalty card along with coupons, so you have to go in for that.
Gift shopping and household items, I most often buy online. I like going through bargain sites like http://www.dealtaker.com and the like -- you can save big money that way and get free shipping I'm stuff. I'm all about bargain shopping!!!

I love doing it the old fashioned way cause I get to stroll down each aisle, look at new and different products up close, select my veggies the old fashioned way by feeling, smelling or seeing them, I get to take a look at labels...ohh it's like a romantic event for me, except if hubby goes...lol.

You are so lucky. That service is not available in our area! But, actually I would miss getting out and seeing my neighbors. Working nights, I don't get to see friends and acquaintances much.

I haven't tried that yet. I still prefer to inspect my own food before I get it. Besides, nobody offers delivery in my area yet.
