Okay, some of my favotie stores are Abercrombie, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, American Eagle and Aeropostale.
Abercrombie: Prices can be a little steep but not too bad. Their clothes are mainly for younger girls sizes 8 - 16.
Abercrombie & Fitch: Same brand, just based for older girls. Sizes range from 0 +. They have very cute clothes but are pretty pricey.
Hollister: Adorable clothes!! THeir clothes are about the same price as Abercrombie but they have somewhat good clearance. They have cute clothes with a California laid back style.
American Eagle: Fun, cute clohtes at pretty good prices. They have AMAZING clearance. I just bought a top for 4.00!!! They also have cute jewelry.
Aeropostale: Cute clothes, but based kind of toward younger gilrs. They also have GREAT clearance. However, some of their clothes can be a little bit immature.
Forever 21 is also an awesome choice. They have GORGEOUS and really hip clothes at awesome prices!!!!!! Since you said you are good at matching this would probably be a great idea.
For shoes I would go to DSW or somewhere else. I have to say, at our school Birkenstocks are HUGE! I really suggest those, but if thats not your style, try DSW.
Good Luck! Hope I Helped!

it kinda depends on how old you are
but I would recommend something simple
like kohls, jcpenny, or nordstrom
or you could go to the mall and shop at stores like delias and pacsun which have a unique vibe
but they're a bit pricey
i personally don't think hollister and AF are that unique.
their shirts don't look much different and hollister and AF are the same company
hollister and AF are too overpriced for their [bad] quality
their shirts are usually too thin and you have to wear a tanktop underneath =[
and for shoes..
i would suggest something simple and cheap
walmart and target sells shoes for 12 bucks and under but they arent that comfy
you could always go to payless or stores similar to that
the mall is a lot more expensive than independent stores

depending on your size, big or small-Ross
if you are small-Jcpenney, Macy's, Abercrombie, American Eagle,
just check out the best shopping mall in your area on a weekend evening. You will see what people are wearing, and you can check out all the stores. Have fun shopping! (I do!)
