Interestingly there is a report on tonight's NPR show All Things Considered and it said that the new Democratic lead Congress is putting more emphasis on investigating this industry.

NO, the country runs on credit, why you think they need so many babies every year. Credit, a company with no money lends us money he pays the world bank now the company has money all from the sweat of our brow, none of the politician are willing to do anything with them, the thing to do is all of us max them out and not pay them, we elect a judge that will judge in our favor that simple, or set up a group that all of us will join and tax credit card companies 900% its that simple, the hard part is getting the average American to do something about it, why they feel threatened and as they can not do anything about the situation

WHAT? Congress JUST passed a bill last year allowing the CC companies to charge higher fees, late charges and higher interest...why would they want to help YOU...did you give them millions to get elected like the credit card companies did?
Further, what do you need their help to deal with...let me guess. You charged too much, and now they are going to sue you for not paying. I don't think that is Congress' responsibility...I think it is YOURS!

How can congress stop nitwits (hopefully not you) from maxing out their credit cards without the ability to pay the credit card off in full each month?

No. Democrats will say anything to get people to vote for them and initiate programs to make you dependent upon them and the government. People need to take responsibility for their own actions, and leave government to take care of the important issues like national defense.
