Hey if any of you have read my long whiny emails you know what im going through. Well, my friend recently told me she wants a gay friend. Do you think i should tell her? What to do?

She might just be trying to encourage you to come out. If she is a good friend and you trust her it is OK. If you doubt her sincerity - don't.
Your posts haven't been long or whiny. Your a person that just wants help. Glad to try to help.

She shouldn't be your friend just because you're gay but go ahead and tell her if you like.

I think she said this to invite you to be more honest with her. So yes-- I would.
