I understand that Orpheus and Eurydice belong here as they are considered characters in a myth. Tennessee Williams is a famous, Pulitzer Prize winning author, no myth. I think you might have a better chance of getting a correct answer if you posted the same question in the Literature section.

Since it's part of Greek mythology, there is no ONE author, but a lot of Greek writers used the characters and retold the same kind of stories.
Off the top of my head, I know Ovid wrote a part about the tragedy of Orpheus and Eurydice. Wikipedia mentions Plato and Virgil, too.

Kid, i shouldn't even dignifie this with an answer but do a lil research. The Greek Myths are fasinating and wonderful. I read Homers Odysee when I was eight years old. My mother had to give me a permission slip to check the books out of the school library that I wanted to read because they thought they were too mature for me. The problem with todays youth is the only reading they do is on the conputer. Pick up a book, preferably one with some substance instead of pokemon or ugio. And, no, I'm not old. I'm 32 but I use my brain for somethin other than a hat rack.
