Do I potentially have UTI? A Uriniary Tract Infection?

I am only 15 years old, not at all sexually active, not pregnant and just a normal female. I have a small amount of irritation near my urinary tract, and it stings if I clench the muscles.

What could this be? A simple bacterial infection?

I can't get to the doctor by this week [earliest I can is Monday], my parents are busy. The pain seems to be subsiding but I have a lot of milky-white discharge.

help!

It doesn't burn when I pee, either.
My urine is a yellowy-orange.

My mom says it might be cause of sitting on cold things. I find that after a swin in a colder lake, it stings when I pee.
But It doesn't now.

Oh yeah and I drank 2 liters of water today and I don't feel the need to go pee.
I have a fairly large bladder, so I go maybe 3 times a day.

I sounds like you have a PH inbalancement in your vagina which is causing the white discharge. In other words you have a yeast infection. In order to get back on track, you must first start by visit your pharmacy and go to get some monasat 7 day treatment. It's a lot gentler for a girl who has never had sex to insert the suppositories her vagina. Second, eat a lot of plain white yogurt. This a natural way getting your PH balance back in your vagina. In regards to the UTI drink a lot of diluted cranberry juice. I t will help but don't skip the doctor's appt. Good Luck my dear.

If it burns when you pee, and you feel like you have to go, even when you know you don't, then you probably have a UTI. And you don't just get them from having sex, sometimes, bacteria just gets into the urethra. Don't worry, you will be fine. Until you can get to the doctor, drink nothing but water and cranberry juice to flush out your system, and relieve some of the pain. The doctor can give you antibiotics, and a pain pill that will make your pee orange. Take care.

im 13 and have already had a UTI and i would say to get it checked out asap because it can get worse and spred all the way to your kidneys. My mom gets UTI all the time and if she doesn't get it checked out with in a couple of days it gets real bad. (does it sting when you go pee?) UTI are very normal and could happen to anyone! you dont need to have sex to get one. One thing you want to be sure of though is to have clean undies on at all times (unclean undies can result in a UTI) well it think that is it! hope i coul help!

Try going to your school nurse if you feel comfortable and she can give you more advice on what it might be and what to do until you can get to the doctor. And if you really feel like you can't wiat until Monday, tell your parents that you really think something is wrong, and hopefully they'll be able to work things to get you to a doctor.

Sounds like you may have a yeast infection. It can be treated with over the counter medication, try calling your dr. tell them your symptoms and the doc will usually call you back with a perscription or tell you what you need to take. Hope this helps.
