well cats are good if you like a quiet home. also if you want someone just for companionship that is calm get a cat. if you are someone who likes exitement get a dog. they both shed. i would recommend a small dog because they are not as rough a bigger ones.

Well it depends on what you want the pet for and how busy you are. Cats are great for people who do not have a lot of extra time. Cats are known for being independant and dont hold a grudge if you are gone for the majority of the day. Dogs on the other hand need people around. They need to be loved and played with often. Either animal is great, it is just a matter of how much time you have to give.

It really depends on your preferences. Both dogs and cats make wonderful pets but it also depends what age you want them-a kitten or puppy. In my opinion, cats/kittens are easier to take care of and you get a respectful, lovable, bond. However, puppies/dogs are great as well, but they need more attention and training. Dogs are also loyal and protective where a cat is not so much. Like I said, it depends on your preferences.

dogs are harder to take care of, the need more attention, potty breaks and play time and all that. cats are independant and they use the litter box (just have to clean up after) however when your down and need comfort a dog is better. i have a dog but i just got rid of my 4 cats because my landlord told me when i moved in that i could only have one animal and we chose the dog, a part of me wishes we had a cat because they are easier, but dogs are a lot more fun. sorry im probably doing what you are already doing. hope i was help.

Dogs are more work than cats. You have to walk them everyday no matter the weather if you do not have a large yard. They are also more noisy. Cats are more independent and quiet. Both do offer companionship. My cats know when I am not feeling well and curl up with me in bed.
