he was harrassed and accused of being a stalker. He never really bothered anyone. Just liked to ask stupid questions. its really a shame.

Thank you all I will talk to john again tonight. Hopefully I can convince him to try to reinstate his yahoo account. Hes pretty mad though.

I think it's all about humor over here, I think if you're posting a question, you'd better expect that some people might use it for a laugh. I know I try to. I hope he doesn't feel too bad, I know it can be discouraging at first or at times but in P&S I think we're probably the harshest and craziest.

It wasn't this way when it started last year. It seems the longer this goes on, the nastier and meaner people get. I've dropped out several times and stay gone for a while, then wander back because I miss the questions and answers. I don't understand people, or their reasons for having to destroy something that others enjoy. That seems to be a way of life today. It's really sad!

I really wish I knew, from my experience people here at Y!A are nice to me when I need it, I love that aspect, but sometimes the violations can be over the top and I can see why it would drive people away.. :O(

I think people in other areas are much nicer and there are far fewer violation issues. People are soooo nice in Family & Relationships and also in Health.
I agree with you, why can't we all just play nice and say 'please' and 'thank you' and get along nicely?
There's some sort of very strange competitiveness going on in P&S and there are little cliques like in high school. It's wierd.

well it's not abt being mean.....generally no one is rude unless the question is utterly stupid n dumb......only den do ppl snub dem.......cos dumb questions really turn u off........u shou;d try answering one of those den u'll see.......but it's upto dem to quit.....no one asked em to do so......maybe the got tired of asking dumb questions?.....n seeing dumber answers......so dey preferred to stay away.........No point in being mean.......jus aswer if u know n leave it if u don't.

Simple explanation: People are jerks, and abuse happens and intensifies the longer they get away with it.
