The mucous membranes of her nasal cavity must be very thin...and all the nosesprays she may have used and decongestants may have dried them out. Try putting a little vaseline on your finger and putting it just inside the opening of the nostril and then gently squeezing the nostril together. Dry warm heat of the house causes this too. If she continues to do this, she may have to have the little blood vessel cauterized to stop it from bleeding. When she does have a nosebleed , keep her head upright or leaning forward, with a tissue or compress, press the nostrils together (you are in effect giving direct pressure to the bleeding blood vessel) and then appy ice to the nose.

You might want to see a doctor after the weekend if it still keeps coming. Blood clots are a sign of an small artery open, which could have happened from blowing her nose a lot. But as I said if it is still going on for the next few days see a doctor.

I work for a doctors office and this must be the time of year for nose bleeds for we are seeing a lot of them now.
Take her and have him check the inside, she may need it cauterized to seal off the small spot inside that keeps bleeding. The one that answered about the nose spray is right, it can cause thinning of membranes and if scratched inside cause bleeding often.
Just go have it looked at.
