Lake Powell and Lake Mead are two you might be thinking of, but they are in Glenn Canyon and Black Canyon. They are on the same river (the Colorado River) as the Grand Canyon, but Black Canyon/Lake Powell is just upstream and Glenn Canyon/Lake Mead is just downstream.

There is no lake that goes through the Grand Canyon. There are lakes (really, they are reservoirs) on either side of the Grand Canyon but none inside it.
