I started watching some reruns of Tru Calling and halfway through season two they put another show instead. What the heck happened? Did it get cancelled?

It was cancelled because FOX doesn't like that the show didn't gain as many viewers as The Apprentice, CSI Miami, and shows like Alias and 7th Heaven. FOX is so terrible... Tru Calling was a very original and interesting show. A lot like Reunion with the time thing. But both shows didn't get the ratings FOX wanted.
It's ashame they can't wait a little while before they cut those shows that I feel are worth watching. This was one show that I got into and loved the character. The last show that was televised was April 21,2005 so I doubt they are planning to bring it back. Big mistake!!

It got canceled a while ago in 2005 with only 6 episodes in the second season.

they did cancel it the second season was the last its out now on dvd and you can see the finale. It left alot of things still open.

I know! I used to watch that show too. I hate when they all of a sudden cut shows off like that.

I don't know,guess it was cancelled due to new shows.That was a really good show.

there replaced into basically one finished season & 0.5 of season 2 - all on the dvd boxset.It have been given cancelled interior the U. S. simply by unfavorable rankings & intense production expenses.Pity it replaced into an excellent sequence.
