Same thing it means for heterosexual men and women or gay men. Most such terms actually mean the same across the communities, although they're most often employed in gay male culture.

In BDSM terms, "bottom" means someone who is sexually submissive, usually a masochist. In just vanilla terms, it means someone who enjoys being on the receiving end of sex. Particularly for lesbians, being a bottom means being the recipient of penetrative sex, either with fingers, hands, or toys like dildos and strap-ons. It can be applied to those who like to recieve oral sex, but that's secondary to the penetrative sex part. A top, on the other hand, is someone who enjoys doing both of those things to their partner.

Hope that helps.

actually it can mean the same thing for heterosexual couples as well. It refers to the submissive partner (one being dominant).
In some circles that can mean a man or a woman.

A top means they are the lead, the dominant, the 'top'.
