I agree 100%, figure alot of the Libs on here are rather young, but I recall the protests during the Vietnam war quite vividly! They could do the same thing, march on there local governments, march on washington, protests, ive seen very little of that going on period, so wake up Libs, put your money where your mouth is.....get busy!
Big Rome, I did just that, whats your excuse?

It's probably that thing called "money" which is now what gives the common man a voice...and if you don't have it, then you may as well slide the left side of your face across an expanse of tarmac - it is just as effective as calling your representative and getting some stuff "off your chest"...I'm pretty sure the American people said that when they discovered the Presidential Approval Rate to be below 29%, and still nothing was done to oust him...I thought this was a democracy when the MAJORITY was the most correct and had the most influence. Then again, it's probably that whole "money" thing...

just like cons lobbied to ban abortions, get rid of welfare and balance the budget over the past 6 years?
OH WAIT... they just set on here complaining about the previous president for 6 years straight and none of the problems that they've been complaining about for 20 years were even close to being solved...
but maybe you're right... they should increase the pressure... they may actually do something about it... unlike the last congress..

I think most thinking Liberals realize that Bush has created a situation that doesn't allow for the quick withdrawal of troops from Iraq.

Why are you posting here, when you could be lobbying for whatever you want to?
And how do you know what people do or don't do?
The logic of your questions are something really special.

Lobbyists cost money, and they can't get taxpayers to fund it.
