what happens when Ca in solid form reacts with Cd(NO3)2 in aq form? What are the products?

Ca is above Cd in the activity series of metals. That means that Cd would form atoms and ppt out and Ca would react to form ions and go into solution

Ca + Cd(NO3)2 --> Ca(NO3)2 + Cd
