You know what it feels like. Checking e-mails and voice mails every hour, calling freinds and brothers to talk, praying, none of which helps to calm me down. All I think about is: how come they are not getting me back? Tell me how do you spend time while waiting for the job offer.

I always have multiple resumes out, and constantly search out all the opportunities out there. Never put all your eggs in one basket. Look at job searches as exciting and challenging, and good experience. Learn to interview well and confidently so that you never have to worry that you will not get hired. I look, even though I have a great job, and I always try to stay on top of the job markets. I often talk to colleagues and vendors to see what happens in my industry. It also helps when I am looking to hire people.
