I was thinking of elvis? Is that a good idea??

I want to do someone really interesting.. but im not sure who
and people have already chosen oprah, ray charles, the beatles and i dont really want to do anything with politics

The Beatles are British citizens, not great American leaders. How about Martin Luther King, Jr.?
Other ideas: Mark Twain, Thomas Edison, Walt Disney, John McCain (he was a prisoner of war and served honorably in the military), Maya Angelou, Jonas Salk, or Charles Lindbergh
There are so many good choices other than music idols or pop culture icons.
