I am at a job were I know it is time for me to move on. I can never do anything right when it comes to my managers and what they ask me to do. I am actively looking for a new job. I don't want to quit before I have a new job. I want to be considerate and give them two weeks before I move on to another job.

Now I was wondering how do you or how have you stayed calm and happy at a job you hate while you are looking for a new job? Any advice to someone that cannot stand there manager anymore?

Unless you have some paid time off you can take, sit tight!! Its better to be miserable than miserable and unemployed!!
Try to concentrate on your work, and intensify your job search. If you have to take another position just to escape this one, then give your notice in writing and make a copy for your file, so they can't discredit you when you need a reference.
Please make sure you have a solid offer and a start date before you leave. Plan your exit and make it clear you hate to leave but the offer is such that you have to accept it. Good Luck.
