I was forced to listen to some rap songs today and they where terrible I would rather listen to someone scratch their nails on a chalk board and all kinds of other irritating noises than listen to rap. Who agrees with me?

i feel the same way.i don't kno how ppl listen to it @ all!personally i think the best kind of music is BEATLES.rap dosen't even come close to even amounting to the beatles.or most music for that matter.i personally don't like r&b or hip-hop or any of the crap that is ALL about sex.i like music from 1950s through the 1980s.i wish i lived durring beatlesmainia!i would b 1 of those crazy girls that would b screaming so hard i'd pass out!~lol~

I dont agree with you at all. I dont like all rap music, but some of it is actually good. I like the rap that has a good message behind it. If it talks about drugs, their car, or how much money they have, then I'm not interested. If it talks about something positive then yes I will listen. Like I said, not all rap is bad.

The old school rap of the 80's and early 90's was good. Now anyone with gold teeth can make a CD or a video.

I personally don't care. I do not obsess or get upset with what other people listen to. To each their own, ignore things you do not like, you will be better off. People spend too much time worrying about what other people do and having opinions on it. Simply put why do you care when you really think about it?

I agree with you. I hate rap, but I respect those who like it. I just don't listen to it.

rap music kicks butt! there is nothing wrong with it even though SOME of it can be a little depressing ill say, but it is awesome.

I totally agree with you. I think that rap has alot to do with America's kids these days. ALL they talk about it Sex, Drugs and Women. How influential is that? And plus, there is no beat. And. don't even get me started on those damn music videos!

preaching to the choir. i would rather stick a dull pencil in my ear and scratch my brain, before before forced to listen to (c) rap muzak,,, both will do about the same amount of damage

one must consider it music because it meets the criteria: rhythm and sounds
that "creativity" has degenerated to the point where sampling from classic or even (you know this is true? hear "chain hang low") children's songs speaks ill of the "artistry" involved in generating "new" music.
the ability to rhyme, spout filth and do all that as quickly and unintelligibly as possible leads to stardom.
unfortunately, i have to meet the needs of my listening audience as a duty of DJing.
