My previous question (check it out) about finding an oil-free moiturizer after my dermatoligst said i should use an oil-free moisturizer, so I was wondering is the oil control lotion the same as an oil-free moisturizer (will it help my dry skin?)

NO oil control lotion is NOT the same as an oil-free moisturizer. The regular time-wise mositurizers are all oil free and much better suited to your skin type. The oil control lotion is for oily skin types and will only dry your skin out more.

I recommend: Oil free hydrating gel and the timewise moisturizer for normal to dry skin.

I even have had a similar situation. whether, clinique did no longer advance the feel of my skin. It did no longer worsen it, yet for what I paid for it, it did no longer particularly make it from now on perfect, it replaced into like a brief restore, and it had to be reapplied by the day. same for mary kay, aveda, and any of the different expensive type moisturizers that i've got tried. i take advantage of Garnier Fructis skin Renew face cream-- I even have comfortable skin, and it would not have any sunscreen in it (which irritates my face), it would not have that waxy scent (like clinique) and it would not make my face greasy. Its very easy, and a splash is going a protracted way. i like it! i think like it particularly is totally almost a hidden treasure nevertheless... you could no longer discover it at each and all the drugstores. maximum shops carry the garnier anti wrinkle cream, yet some do no longer carry the exterior renew. Walmart consists of it, and that i be attentive to walgreens and CVS do to boot. yet particularly some chain grocery shops that are smaller don't have it. stable success!

No it will not help dry out your skin like an acne product just reduce the oiliness in your skin. You will need a product with benzoyl peroxide to dry out your skin and heal your acne.
