The median expected salary for a typical Architect in the United States is $56,637 but the pay can be dramatically affected by compensable factors such as employer size, industry, employee credentials, years of experience and others.
On the other hand, I discovered that there is such a thing as a Network Architect (computer related). I understand that a manager in this field can earn around $100,000 annualy.
Take care.

They make decent money, once they get past the "internship" requirements and take the tests to get a license. However, I don't think they are the highest paid professionals.
