haha i thought you said angel food cake...

well make the angel food cake anyways its yummy.

10 large egg whites, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted

Using an electric mixer beat the egg whites on medium speed with the cream of tartar and the salt until soft peaks form, about 2 minutes. Add the sugar and vanilla and beat until stiff peaks form, about 2 minutes. Add the flour and beat for 2 minutes, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed. Pour the batter into an ungreased angel food cake pan.

Bake until golden brown and springy when touched, 30 to 35 minutes. (The top of the cake may crack a little.) Remove the pan from the oven and turn it upside down over the neck of a bottle. Let cool completely.

AS FOR ANGELFISH FOOD?

i dont think there are many......

there are these though that your angel will LOVE and will live longer....Adult Brine Shrimp, Black Worms, Mosquito larvae, finely chopped earthworms and Guppy fry...or heres a good homemade one.... Raw beef heart, finely ground, mixed with unflavored gelatin and frozen immediately in small one serving size pieces is a good and economical addition to your Angelfish diet. Be absolutely sure there is no fat in the meat.

At one time I made most all of my fish food and to be totally honest it's really just not worth the effort and expense. it's very difficult to get the vitamins and nutrients in your food that are included in commercial fish food.

Instead I would suggest you focus on cultureing or collecting live foods for your angels as a supplement to the prepared flakes. For the health of your fish this would be the best way to spend you time and / or cash.
