The hype is about the potential of some chemicals used to make plastic leaching into the milk. To avoid it, don't store water or milk in the bottle itself for any longer than a few hours. Wash all bottles thoroughly before using them (like you didn't) and if the milk smells like plastic, throw it out. These toxins in HUGE doses cause cancer but your baby is unlikely to be exposed to any at all. Bottles are washed frequently and do not typically sit with liquid in them for long stretches. Its nothing to worry about. It is a reason that some breastfeeding moms site, but the truth is the baby is just as likely to get a little exposure from mom drinking bottled water. There are a lot of reasons to breastfeed, but toxins in baby bottles isn't one of them.

They make the bottles out of really chep plastic, and when the bottle is washed or the milk is heated up the chemicals and plastic particles seap into the milk. I think that this is horrible but we have to many people in the world anyway. Worry about the small amount of animals and wildlife on the Earth which is being threatend instead of a bunch of stupid babies which we will always have plenty of.

Yes, what is going on? You can't purchase anything anymore without risking your child getting hurt. They need to do further testing before selling these products because if something happens to our children, there is no coming back from death. Even if you sue, all the money in the world will not make it better because that child does not come back...

Soon there might be an issue with the babies formula... UNBELIEVABLE......

*To Heather Y* And the manfacturers of plastic baby bottles have no bias? If anything, their studies into dangers from the bottles that they manufacture would biased, to protect their product.

Whether you believe it or not, here is a link to a recent article on the subject:

Personally, I'd rather err on the side of caution.

This is nothing new, we always knew that chemicals from plastic containers leaks to what's inside.Specialy if they're heated and microwaved.

Someone had a link on here to the story the other day. It was basically a shock headline, followed by pseudoscience conducted by biased groups.
