I seriously can't change it! I went to "edit my avatar" and changed it, but it won't take! Am I doomed to look like this forever?

Probably Pablo in the Yahoo factory did it to you. Look at me, I am wearing this stupid "Cinco De Mayo" T-shirt! I just wrote to the Yahoo factory and told Pablo to lay off the Whipits. Anyway, there is hope for you. If you create a new profile, you will be able to choose a 'new you'. Basically, you can clone yourself without the eyepatch and do-rag. But, make sure to keep this a secret from Pablo at the Yahoo factory. He is very mischievous! Next, he will have you grilling hotdogs outside in the middle of a city sidewalk.
