They both should be canned. Remember Bush said that he would fire whoever was responsible for the leak that outed Valarie Plame as a CIA agent. Though they may not be fired or criminally prosecuted, they are not getting off scott free. There is irreparable damage to the credibility of Cheney, Rove, and the entire administration. I also hear that the Wilson's may file a Civil suit. It was HW Bush that said the worst kind of treason was the outing of a covert operative.

Cheney was not on trial, Libby, his Chief of Staff was.
Although, this conviction does not bode well for the Vice President, the administration and other individuals (Rove).
You should expect more information to be revealed regarding the outing of the undercover CIA agent. This further information could lead to an indictment of the Vice President and possibly impeachment proceedings.
Scot free? Maybe not.
Make your voice heard!! However you choose to do so.

You are disrespecting a true patriot, sir! He used the system to get out of getting drafted! Now you cannot be more American than that, especially if you are a Republican involved in politics! Don't you know that he needs to be pitied, since he cannot shoot strait while drunk and shoots the face of his good friend?

Probably. If things start getting really bad, he'll most likely
retire before the $hit hits the fan.
You've probably noticed he has a new medical problem
in the works. For backup, that is.

A question of pure ignorance.
Armitage has admitted that he gave the information to the news media. It was him.
To bring in Cheney & Rove is pure childish.
How embarrassing for you.
