Nero Wolfe.
But of the three, Poirot relies on the psychology of the matter; Sherlock is the materialist, looking for clues and analyzing them; Maigret is a blend of the two, using his intuition (psychology) and facts.

Sherlock Holmes is the best detective.
He's solved more cases than the others could even dream to solve, and he was the first person to really look into forensics. Wheel tracks, footprints, traces of cloth, fallen jewelry, he could even deduce what someone was smoking simply by looking at the ash.
He also bested the top three criminals in London, including Professor Moriarty, who would have outwitted Poirot and Maigret.
Holmes wasn't just about looking for clues, he was about analyzing a person's psychology, as well as anticipating what they would do instead of just figuring out what they did do.
