I would prefer somthing not too slow paced and light hearted.
Also it's a family event so there can't be any cuss words in it(well actually the first 2 min. that's our time limit)

Definately Breakaway by kelly Clarkson. The song states that you are ready to break free from the rest and release all your bads to make out for the goods.
It's not TOO slow paced, it is a little, but it is a song everyone knows and loves so it should :)

Well one of my favorites, featuring the awsome guitar talent of kerry king, is the song " Hell Awaits" by Slayer. It is not slow paced and not light hearted. No cuss words either. Just good ole fashion metal at its finest

I disagree with many of the different solutions. i think of you may sing a music from the prepare - it exhibits the director which you have have been given taken the time to make your self familiar with the fabric. i might sing "Human back". All 3 of the characters you indexed sing that music...and as properly it somewhat is my admired music interior the prepare. whilst it somewhat is carried out outstanding with each and all the harmonies, it supplies me goosebumps!

The little mermaid song is fantastic. My daughters are both west coast swimsuit winners for Hawaiian Tropic and although they didnt do talent, I heard the mermaid song a couple of times and its a good one!
