I sure does love my master, yessir, I do. Picking that cotton is good work and makes my master happy. I knows I deserves getting whipped whens I slacks off, oh yes indeedy. Times to eats me a little cornbread and watermelon.

That was a hard day, things didn't go very well, I got whipped a few times. I miss my family so much, I miss my mother's hugs and my father's face, my seven sisters and nine brothers. I haven't seen them for such a long time. I bet that I have more brothers and sisters now. My feet are killing me, I wish that they would give us shoes, and my back is burnt, I wish that they would give us more clothes. My throat is dry and my stomach won't stop growling. It's so sad here, we can't be happy, there is nothing to be happy about, we sleep on the ground, which isn't much better than at home, but at least at home I had my family, and my friends. It looks like it's going to rain tomorrow and I'm excited, the rain is the only nice thing that happens here, it soothes my back, and makes the ground soft.

I have blisters on my hands, and my feet are swollen. My head aches so badly that I don't think I'll be able to sleep. How could they make us work all day out in the hot sun? One of the girls passed out from the heat, and another is getting so skinny I don't know if she'll live much longer. I want to go home so badly...

if i was a slave and at the end of the day i would think about whats life as a white person and then i think about how to escape my horrible life

Escape. I would plot escape or I would just lay down and die.
The reason the colonists did not enslave Native Americans was because they refused to work and they willed themselves to die.
