I was at the market this morning and two men walked past holding hands, stopped and hugged and kissed each other goodbye and went their separate ways. Now I do not see a problem with this, but there were people in front of me making comments of how disgusting and shameful this was.
What the hell is the problem with it? they are just 2 humans in love!
What is so wrong about it?

Yeah, people will do that. These people truly believe that being gay is a sin and will send you to hell, and that they (meaning the onlookers) should not be forced to watch such sinfulness.
And that's when you mentally smack each of them in the back of the head and move on. :-) I would suggest that you ACTUALLY smack them in the head, but that would be assault.
I wish there was something more we could do, but these people have all heard the "Love is not evil" speech and generally are beyond help. The best thing you can do is to raise your children to be more loving, and vote for Gay Rights. :-)

I think most of us agree that there is nothing wrong with what you witnessed.
As a member of a group of gay men (bears actually) who visit Disneyland on a regular basis, it is not unusual to see us holding hands, hugging, giving backrubs, or even dry kissing as we spend our day "at the parks." Not once have I ever heard someone make a negative comment. Maybe it's selective hearing on my part, but all the same...these demonstrations of our brotherhood and friendship are far tamer than some of the heterosexual couples we have witnessed.
I agree with castle h....next time, speak up. Please. The lack of education among the straight community regarding our love is sorely lacking.

Nothing is wrong with it the only things wrong were the disgusting small minded cold hearted people that had to get their panties all in a knot over other people in love!
How stupid, shallow, short sighted, and haterful of those poor loosers and they dont even know they are the ones every one should be calling disgusting, not the two guys!

I love when you say they are just two humans in love. There is nothing wrong with it. People just hate homosexuals for a wide range of reasons. I think to actually see it bothers people also. Homosexuals in the past would have never done that because homosexuality was so taboo and is still seen that way today!

there is nothing wrong with it. My girlfriend and I used to get a lot of negative comments from kids at school when we first started dating, we even got threatened multiple times. but we dont think about other people anymore, we've learned to block out other people's voices. Gays know that our lifestyles goes against the Bible, but when we are in love with someone we dont stop and think about our "sins." Without thinking, we hug and kiss, because its natural to us. its the way God made us...to love one another.
eventhough it can get dangerous for gays to show affection in public, we do it to
1) show a silent protest- that there are gay people and it needs to be recognized.
2) gay people can show signs of love and affection and not just want to have sex all the time.'
3)someone needs to stop homophobia by showing younger kids that everyone can love
4)or sometimes we just want to be held in the arms of our partner.

You should have informed the people in front of you, "There is nothing disgusting or shameful about love. There is a lot that is shameful and disgusting about hatred and bigotry however."

People are just ignorant! Like you said, they are 2 people who are in love. It's sad that we are still in a world where there is so much hate and ridicue.

Nothing wrong with love..
That's right that God created Adam & Eve "means love should be bet. them"
but now more than Adam & Eve there "as multiple choice"
& also love bet. human & other creatures "it's all about love"!

i think that the people who think that is disgusting should get a life and are probably jealous that they are not in a loving relationship.
