Don't purchase anything too trendy; I like to stick with basic styles of clothing in muted colors, then spice it up and make the look your own with the creative use of accessories like scarves or bold bags and shoes. You can always find something good at a thrift store, and the Clearance racks at Wal-Mart are close to free (I just purchased 8 articles of clothing there for $28). As for shoes and accessories, Payless ShoeSource has really revamped their products, you can find the cutest things there! Also, if you have a choice, go to a Payless that is lower traffic or in a lower-income area. They get almost all the same stock as the big, bright and busy ones, but they are bound to have a larger selection of very low clearance prices. Whatever you do, check every article of clothing for wear, loose seams, or flaws. IT doesn't matter how inexpensive it is if you can't wear it more than once! ^_^

I recommend going to Target or Walmart for clothes. Target have the cutest clothes, for very cheap prices. I have seen people who look like milliionaries and dress like milliionaires shopping at Target for clothes. Forever 21 is a great place of acessories for very low prices. Kohls is also a great place to shop. Just go to the clearence section. You'll find trendy clothes for 20%- 80% off. Once I found a pair of UnionBay pants for like 80% off. It use to be $40 and I got then for like $10.

seriously, no joke: i saw an MSN article of what's in for spring, and they featured a cute pink coat w/ belt, and it was from WAL MART. omg.... and i saw a girl at work that had an awesome belt, turned out it was on sale for like $5 at WAL MART. so yeah, if u have little cash to spare, try wal mart and mix and match w/ Target which has pretty cute clothes but a Tad pricer than Walmart. :)
accessories like purses and necklacees and stuff u can find cheap at Forever 21..they have really cute necklaces for only $7!

Try a secondhand shop such as Goodwill or Salvation Army. With the right amount of hunting there can be a lot of really cute clothes and accessories for very little money.

you may not like what i say.....but what people dont know wont hurt them....shop at your local thrift store or second hand store. no kidding. a friend of mine wears all the latest fashion and is very well put together and she shops there and i didnt even know it until i asked about a specific sweater she was wearing...i was amazed...just because its a thrift store doesnt mean they only sell stuff from the 70's and 80's. lots of people are dieting now and take stuff in they simply dont fit in anymore and named brands at that. so give those places a try. and dont forget the accessories, you know its all about those. oh, and, the yard sale season is coming up with the warmer weather. check out a few of those too.

THrift stores are always good for one or two good finds. Also, head for the sales rack at your fave store, and there's usually something fab in your size. As for accessories, make some! most homemade jewellry looks really expensive and cute, if you do it well. Hope I could help!
