Monster cable is a very good quality brand to purchase and you cant go wrong with them, however down side is the price. So its up to you. If best quality go with the Monster it will last for a long time and quality will be second to none.

I bought my HDMI cables from Monoprice.com for $7/ea for my PS3.

I was thinking the same thing, "Am I losing quality for buying cheaper cables?"

The cables work fine.

Here's what people don't know. HDMI is for transferring high bandwidth digital data across to your receiver or tv.
So if you're having problems with picture quality, and people ask if its because of the HDMI cables, its not. Because its digital data being sent over the HDMI cables, you either get the picture, or you don't. Unlike analog connections that could have a poor connection and become static or have a loss in picture quality.

What you may come across is poorly built HDMI cables vs better shielded HDMI cables...that may be a concern, but for my $7, it was worth taking that risk. No issues with my cables.

Hope this helps! (you and your wallet)

The quality of a monster cable is so obscenely high it's almost ridicules. Considering if anything goes wrong you can buy like 5 cheap HDMI cables for the price of one monster cable I would go with the cheap personally.

Just buy a cheap HDMI cable. They are all the same. HDMI.org provides the same standard to all of the companies, which means all HDMI certified cables are basically the same. Be wary of eBAY cables though, most of those are not certified.
