A lot of people with unpaid debts on credit cards are going back to Europe. We are not talking about few hundreds dollars. They mostly owe around 25.000 and more and make it harder for us here to get credit card with decent credit line. In Europe there is no credit score, no Equifax, Experian,Us banks dont have branches in Europe etc. Is there a reason for them to be worried?

there are criminal implications to doing this. depending on the amount owed, and criminal charges, the individuals could be extradited and returned to the U.S. (possible but probably highly unlikely)

I would have to say no, but it depends where in Europe they are going. U.S. banks have ties with European Banks so there could be communication that way.
