How do I get sound/audio from the built in speakers on my pc monitor? I have plugged in the plug from the back on the monitor (green one) in the correct socket and ive selected in the audio devices control panel the type of speakers i have and volume is up high, but still no sound! Can anyone tell me what I need to do?
surley u dont need to install software for the pc's own internal monitor speakers??
please help

checked other outlets no joy - its colour coded green so it must be the right one. AS the speakers are built in to monitor (small speaker pads below screen there is no on swtich anywhere) Im confused seems such an easy thing to do but its not working

definatly not muted checked volume bar at the bottom volume defo right up. No other audio device installed on pc or plugged in so u wud think standard speakers would just come on!?!

Make sure the cords are plugged into the right ports. Also, see if the audio on your computer itself is muted or turned off. To do this, click the speaker icon near the clock on your task bar at the bottom of your screen. Make sure the volume is up all the way for every option. Uncheck mute if it's checked.

Try plugging the cord into all other outlets. Make sure the speakers are turned on.
