A guy told my friend she could play certain parts in our video project because, I kid you not, he says it is "easier" for her to be pretty than it is for me. Wow.
I'm torn between being annoyed and rather offended and just feeling bad for him because he truly cannot seem to talk to people without putting his foot in his mouth. Chime in guys, how did he mean it?

That guy is a scoundrel. I feel like getting off my horse, taking off my glove and slapping his face with it for what he said to a lady like you....
What I think he really meant to say was that it was easier for her to appear pretty in the video because his camera is faulty and it doesn't do justice to your skin tone.

A simple answer, he is not only a poor judge of beauty but the first mistake was that he was judgemental at all. The way that we communicate best with others is by asking others to explain their comments. Do not be annoyed or offended just consider the source of the comment. Keep smiling, great smile!

Well I honestly think he was trying to be mean. It doesn't mean that you are not attractive, but he just probably wanted the other girl to do it. Although it did come out in a messed up way. Don't be offended just finish the project and then you don't have to deal with him anymore.

Well honestly from the sounds of it, it is something that I would have said when I was flirting with someone, I would have said it to let thatgirl know how attractive I found her. I don't think he meant anything against you, but then again most guys are *ssholes!

I think he is going to try to talk his way out of it anyway he can now. Trick is just don't stick around guys with low intellect unless you know how to train them. Basically on some level he likes her visually more than he likes you, he just sucks at knowing what to say when and how.

I think he finds your friend more attractive...that does not mean she is...just to him. And you are right he certainly does not know how to talk to people..personally I would not let it bother me....what might bother me was how your friend responded to the comment?!
