This is a question about soap you use in the bath or shower,I wanted to know what soap cleans the best, is not abrasive to the skin, leaves no oil, film or residue and has no perfume smell to it. In other words I don't want it to have a fragrance.

Either a pure glycerin soap, the best are availble in health stores, or Dove makes an unscented soap, believe it or not Zest soap is excellent for not leaving a residue feeling I am not sure if it comes in unscented I know it comes in seveal fragrances some of them light so it may actually come unscented.

I use something called emulsifying ointment!! It is great! It comes in a big 500g tub, and it is like white vaseline (but not greasy), and you use it to wash your skin with!! It has absolutely no fragrance whatsoever, and leaves your skin really soft (not greasy). The only downside to it, is it does need quite a bit of rubbing in to soap up!! You can get it from any pharmacy! You will have to ask at the counter for it though as it is something they keep out back.

Similar to Emulsifying ointment is Aqueous cream - this is a lot easier to rub into the skin. Both only cost about £3 and one tub lasts a long time!!

In the super market aveeno sells gentle, not purfumey liquid soap, Other wise if you can get your hands of some homemade soap, you can usually find it at farmers markets.
Other wise you can get it from Country Kitchen creations, They are Amish soap makers in whitewater wisconsin..You can mail order it by calling (262)-473-7908

good luck!

Original Dead Sea Soap contains all the minerals from the Dead Sea and leaves your skin really soft and smooth. It doesn't go all slimy. either, or dissolve in the soap dish!
