Hello there, I have a question about me, I had unprotected sex and my boyfriend did come inside me, I did take the 'morning after pill' but i took it after the 72 hour mark, it happened around 11pm Thursday night and I took the pill Monday at 5pm,so is that 30hrs after the end mark? But I have also been taking 'Rhodiola Rosea' which is a herbal anti-depressant, now I have heard 'St Johns Wort' can effect the 'morning after pill' from working, does anybody know if it is the same with this herbal drug, plus I have been on websites to find out when I was most fertile and Thursday was in that 'most fertile' stage, are the odds stacked against me, is it likely the 'morning after pill' won't work???

Two why didn't you know about the st Johns wort with the pill?

St Johns wort does cancel the pill and a morning after pill is simply a stong pill.

looks like you will have to keep your fingers crossed as you well know you will not be covered by the after pill. If you was taking the normall pill dont start it again until you are sure you are not pregnant. If you do not see your period speak to your doctor as soon as you can. I have always been told not to take St johns wart as it counteracts the pill. but i have never heard bout the other one. If you are not sure seek advice from a health shop.

The morning after pill is not particularly reliable if taken more than 72 hours late.
I know you are worried, but there is very little you can do now except wait and see if your period comes, and take a test if it doesn't.

go to see a doctor now there are plenty of places you can go if you dont want anyone to know even if you're under age Marie Stopes advisory clinics and the Brooke advisory service look it up in the phone book or on the web
just out of curiosity seeing as you're a vegan
does'nt that pill have animal hormone in it..........from horses.....
