When i am around my family and my friends i act like my self and i am really funny and joke around and stuff. But when i meet an adult for the first time i act very polite and very nice to them i dont show so much of my funny side that i have. is this normal?

Of course. Sometimes what you think of as funny may not be interpreted as funny by someone else. You realize this and show a polite face until you know the person better. You are being sympathetic to other peoples feelings and personalities. If anything, its a good quality.

i am like this as well. i personally dont like it because i am very polite with my father and my family, but when im not at home or around my family im different.

its kinda confusing for me cause i dont really know who i am, as in which of the personaliies is really me, because i dont want to always be polite and bow to their every whim and say yes to everything, but because i was grown that way i cant help it.

when im not EXTREMELY POLITE and i just relax and STOP WORRYING ABOUT what I say i feel much better, and i would recommened u do this as well.
