When I was pregnant me and my sister were talking and she told me she was no longer taking birth control. I asked her if she wanted to get pregnant and she said no. I then told her that she would if she wasn't careful and she just turned around and said "No I won't" 2 months later she announced she was pregnant (2 weeks before my due date) I would be happy for her only she keeps insisting it was an accident and she didn't wanna fall pregnant. I am so angry with her because I know she did this deliberately and she keeps lying to everyone saying she didn't relise she would get pregnant when she did know because I told her. How do I tell her to stop lying to herself and the people around her and admit she knew what she was doing?

Yes it does bother me and it is my concern because she is lying to me and if I or someone else says anything about it she gets all defensive and bitchy and says she never had a choice as if it's our fault!!

There's an old African proverb:
"What he eat don't make you fat."
I think it applies here. Don't involve yourself in whether she has deliberately gotten pregnant or not. Forget about it and welcome your niece or nephew just as you would otherwise.
You must let people do their own growing up.

You can't change a person, I know someone just like that. She told my friend what dates she would be likey to ovulate which were a week off bc. she wanted to get pregnant before her. She confronted her and she denied it. Lying is just built in peoples personality you just can't change it. Try not to show you anger towards her bc. she will really up the tempo. Next time try laughing it off in front of her. She'll feel like a fool. Good Luck

I would think that you would be happy that you and your sister are both having babies. Sounds like you just want the spotlight on yourself. What does it matter if she got pregnant on purpose or not? Who cares if she tells people she wasn't trying and it happened. You're being petty.

Why is this your concern? People will find out she is a liar so why do you feel the need to make certain of it. Mind your own business and leave her to hers. If she is lying it will come back on her soon enough.

sounds like deep down your sister was probably jealous that you were pregnant and getting alot of attention that she really wanted to try it I would just leave it alone maybe when the baby is born she will grow up. GOOD LUCK

She will probably never admit to you she was lying. Its to bad she had to steal this wonderful time from you and become pregnant also. Try not to stress out about it too much not good for your baby.

i know ur very concerned but sometimes u just got to give someone some space. give her a little while to just calm down and relax and dont insist. she could probably just be going thru some phase. after that, talk to her calmly and just let her tell u the rest.

how old is ur sister .. she obviously wanted to be pregnant ... i dont understand why your mad ? maybe she is worried about what people will think of her .... maybe your mad because she is steeling your spotlight .... she obviously care what people think and maybe its easier for her to say it was an accident then go i planned it knowing my sister was pregnant at the same time ... i dont c the big deal ...

She obviously has her reasons for acting like this. All you can do is talk to her and ask how she's feeling, and why she had unprotected sex if she didn't want to be pregnant. Just be there for her.

She really looks stupid for saying that. I mean it's common sense. I guess she was jealous of you having most the attention so now she wants to be in the spotlight.
