Since Franklin Delano Roosevelt second inauguration in 1937, both the president and the vice president have taken their oaths of office for their new term ( first or second) on January 20th of the year following the November general election. Exceptions are when January 20th falls on a weekend (such as for Ronald Reagan in 1985 when it was on January 21st) or when the vice president assumed the presidency due to death (1963) or resignation (1974) of the president.

Since the next general election will be in November of 2008, the new president and vice president will take their oaths of office on January 20, 2009.

Dude you somewhat do in comparison to black people do you? First you call Obama Muslim on your different submit, then you stated he have been given a loose holiday no longer because of the fact he worked complicated in college yet because of the fact of his skin shade, and now you're calling him a lazy black guy. we'd pick Jim Crow for you yet i think he's ineffective.
