Hi,

I hope you're kidding...right!? If you're not, then I would consider what you are doing as stealing from hard working people. Have some pride and get a job...then a house, and then a husband before you even consider having a child. It looks like you have been raised on the welfare system which is infecting this country with a "The world owes me something" attitude. God says a person shouldn't eat if they didn't work for it.....don't believe me, then look it up for yourself. God hates laziness. If you can't think enough about yourself, then Heaven help your child because you are way too immature to have a child.

If it is true, it has nothing to do with a W-2. A W-2 is a form reporting wage income for tax purposes. I heard California was considering giving $500 for each child born in the state, but nothing about any other states. I would have expected the story to mention any states that currently had such a law. Given the choice, I'd prefer they just cut everyone's taxes by whatever the program would cost.

Let's say you had the baby in late December you would be able to get deduction for the entire year, assuming you were working in the first place.

You are aware a baby will cost you $60,000.00 over the years, right?
