With our first my husband was scared to death of hurting ME or the baby. It is VERY normal for them to feel this way and if it bothers you that he doesnt want to have sex with you, you need to talk to your Dr about it IN FRONT of HIM!! Thats what I did and my Dr reasured my husband that he cant hurt either of us. Now we are pregnant again and this time its TWINS. (wow what a different man he is this time around, haha) Good Luck!!

Don't let it make you feel bad. Mine doesn't either. I know a lot of men are afraid to hurt the baby, or the pregnant wife, but I was wanting it alllll the time for a while, and he just didn't. He said there was a lot on his mind, and sex just wasn't what he was thinking about. I just kind of accepted the fact. I know this doesn't help you out, I just wanted you to know it's normal!

Yes, it's true that some men feel that they might hurt the baby by having regular sex while their wife is pregnant. This must be your first baby then, right? It could also be because now he views you as a "mother" when before you were pregnant you were his "lover"... don't worry, soon enough you can be his "maid" too.

Yes alot of men are afraid to hurt the baby or thier wife if they have sex. The best solution is to take the man to the Dr and get the Dr to explain that he cant hurt you or the baby by having sex. I had to do this with my BF with our first. But he was always very delicate with me through out the pregnancy, just in case. With the next one he had fears again in the beginning but got over quicker as he knew there was no risk to me or the baby.
I think it just scares them, that they are going to be inside you, but their baby is already in there.

If you want to know if it's true just ask your husband! This is normal but if your husband doesn't want to have sex then you should respect that!
