All cultures have a name or two I like. Each culture is unique in its own special way. So for me to say that one culture has my favorite kind of names, I would be lying.
But, I must agree with you that I like Irish and German names.

Scottish, Welsh, and Irish. I spent six weeks in Scotland, and I absolutely fell in love with the culture and the strong-sounding names.

Irish and Celtic and Scottish. My name is Celtic, it is Erika and it means strong and honest leader. And I just LOVE the name Bridget for a little girl, and that is Irish. I also like the name Ainsley, which is Scottish.

Japanese (why do you think my user name is Tenkyoku Takumi?)
I like the melodious sound of the Japanese language, and, think about it - if your name is Suzaku Hidama, who will fail to notice you?
