I think I might have Peyronie's disease. I read about it and I might have some of the symptoms. What should I do? I am only 13 and I'd kind of prefer if my parents didn't really know about this.

It is quite normal for boys in Puberty to develop a slight curvature of the penis. If it is pronounced ( very noticeable ) and accompanied by pain, or you are concerned about it, (which obviously you are ) then a visit too your doctor is called for. The cause of the condition is unknown, and treatments are limited and usually come in the form of pain relief/slowing down/ stopping any further progression. If there is no associated pain it is usually left alone. In severe cases surgery can be performed to correct the problem, but this is seldom necessary, and won't be carried out until the disease has reached a plateau. It is a common condition, so don't think you are alone, in the event that you have it. We are all guilty of being over critical of our bodies, and what you are observing may merely be " normal " growth for you. It would be interesting to know if you sought out the reading matter because of your concerns, or if your concerns came about after stumbling over the reading matter. When reading over medical literature, we can all find single signs and symptoms, relating to diseases and conditions, that we can relate too having / have had. It does not mean we have the disease.

If you're that concerned, go see a doctor, or ask when/if you ever get a physical. This tends to be something people over 40 have, so most likely it is nothing, and as most have already pointed out, some type of curve is normal. If it is semi pliable (flexible, bendable) with an erection, meaning you can make it straighter by using your hand, then it is nothing to worry about.

The biggest part of the disease is a plague buildup, which makes it harder than it should be (remember, it's tissue and blood). It also tends to leave a noticible bump (which is the pague). A penis should be firm, but not extremely solid, which could indicate a problem.

You should definitely see your GP if you think you have it. But every man has a slight bend in their penis, nobody has a really straight penis, at the moment you are growing up and are more weary of your appearance, i dont think it should be a problem, but just to be on the safe side and for your own satisfaction go to your doctor and instruct him not to tell your parents, and he wont cos he needs to maintain patient confidentiality.

well if you want to get treated your going to have to tell your parents especially because you are so young, you need a guardian/parent to go with you. I know it will be emberassing but let your pride/emberassment go before it gets any worse. I can imagine how you must feel but what's more important your emberassment/pride or your health?! think about it and i hope you make the right decision

One sneaky way to do it would be to go to the health department and tell the nurse the you had unprotected sex and think that you may have gotten something. when you get in to see the doctor, ask him for his opinion. of course, you will need to get an erection, which may be embarrassing, but this may be the only chance that you get...they will see you for free and NOT tell your folks, but they will ask you the name of the girl that you had sex with so that they can contact her...so you have to either fess up or get your GF to help you out...
good luck
