Porn is bad.... agree??
For me, it's the worst thing humans has ever known after killing, for many reasons:
1) makes us (men) look down at women, seeing women as sex tools, and never seeing them for them beauty and kindness which God has given them.
2) Causes addiction.
3) The main cause of sexual harassment, rape and athor sex crimes.

I totally agree with all your statements, but pornography isn't the problem. It's mans heart that produces the pornography thats the problem. Oh...yes...we should fight against it.

First of all, I think you don't like sex, or having sex.

Sex is sex.

Sex, erotica, and arousal have been around for thousands of years and they are not going to go away. You can keep on fighting it. But it's like wars, drugs, and corruption it continues.

What I basically see... are those who feel a law should be made, based by your OWN opinion.

I also disagree with the unhappy wife, who has a husband that likes porn. It's more like your own personal taste, and what my father always told me when I was young, was "It takes two to tango." So there is two sides to every story.
When there is arguments between you two. Sounded like you are very controlling, or you put him in dismay. Call me insensitive, but It what I kind of see.

Sexual harrasment is caused by poor choice of words and conduct. The word "*****" has been used by both sexes. Men aren't the only ones who cause sexual harrassment. Women too. But that is not mentioned alot in this message room. Is it?

I like watching porn, but I don't look down to women. There are women, and there is pretty poison, my mother taught me.
Oh yeah by the way, there are alot of women who love porn too.

My girlfriend of years love porn. Our relationship has been healthy. Since day one. We are hardworking people. So if you think we are a bunch of hood rats or trailer trash your wrong. I believe in god. But religion is a guideline of respecting everyone elses. YOUR guideline is imposing others to see it your way

In respect of what John Doe 1st said recently:

It is not pornography, or a handgun, or a drug, or anything else; it is the human condition, and whether or not a person has any sense of moderation and self-control.

Before you bend the truth. I'll interpet. What he is saying: The battle between good and evil is the choices we make. Not the creation of things.

I don't see pornography as the great evil. It's suppose to be entertainment. But like everything else, there are only a small percentage of people who make it look bad.(i.e. rapists) Just like raves, politics, and police officers. A very small percentage like that can give it a bad name.

As for you:
All I see is something that only follows your own theory.

Yes, I do agree with your statements. I speak from personal experience. My husband is addicted to pornography and this has caused tremendous problems to our marriage. It is immoral unethical and not what God intented for a marriage. I'm in a constant fight against it in my marriage. I wish a lot of more people would see the harm of pornography.Pornography has made my husband loose reality. He lives in a sexual fantasy world that a can never please. It has made him seek stronger images or content since what he has watched rapidly looses the high. He is always looking for newness. He has a wrong perspective of what intimacy should be. It has made him pay more attention to pornographic videos than to other important things in marriage or life. Pornography destroys men lives and destroys marriages.
