No No NO NOOO
You have to be kidding, the blogworld is open to everyone, there are 60, 70 and even 80 year olds out there with a blog. I started two this year and I'm.....well I'm older than you....
You can start by getting your blog reviewed by someone I found on the net at:
http://www.ourblogreview.com
you can get a free review and exchange links (very important). You could consider joining: http://www.mybloglog.com (blog community) as well, this will expose your blog to more visitors....
Hope this helps

honestly, i don't think anyone can ever really be too old for anything. because i mean, what difference does it make? you've only aged another year. unless you're like a 62 year old granny that wants to wear booty-short skirts. lol then i can see the problem. anyways ther's nothing wrong with blogging, it's basically like a journal. you're not too old to express you're thoughts, there's just an excess of teens doing it more because in the adolscence age...its more based on getting attention then a personal journal. lol anyways in other words, go for it!

Keep in mind that blogging is primarily for you. You don't suppose that people are actually reading the contents of the hundreds of millions of blogs out there do you? I'm sure only a tiny fraction get read. So the main purpose is for you to journal. And it is proven beyond a doubt that journaling is beneficial to everyone. It helps us express ourselves and makes us happier.

God, I hope not. I'm 62 and am just thinking seriously about starting a video blog on Live Video (looking at the different camcorders now to see what's available--a lot!!) If there's an age limit, I'm screwed. I already think I see some signs of old timer's disease. AARGHH!!!

I blog, and I'm 34.
There are plenty of bloggers, even on yahoo 360 (where I do most of my blogging) who are older.
It's not a problem, it just means that you have more life experience and wisdom to share.
So keep it up.

I see a lot of blogs from older people. Maybe you're just going to youth oriented sites? In any case, I do sort of know what you mean with so many younger people. The entire internet is poulated with teenagers, it seems. I think we just have to sift through all of that and persevere.

Wrong Question, really, you should be asking if anyone over 14 is going to read your blog.

And given the responses so far, I think the answer is possibly... Tho I think most blogs aren't read :)

You're never too old to blog. I'm 29 and I blog too! :D

Here's a fascinating blog from an old guy. He blogs about being old, ageing and views on death.

It's about what you blog and how your blog. You should blog about something your age, and the tone of your own age.

No, i dont think 30 is too old to blog, i know some people who are 40 or above who blog. i personaly dont, (im fifteen) and it fine that "older" people blog. as long as they dont act like they know it all or tell off the teenagers :D

I dont knowany good blogging sites tho, sorry

You are never too old to do anything you want. I am 30 and people make fun of me for having a myspace account. I don't care. I have found many people that I have lost touch with, so I am glad I did it. Do whatever your little heart desires!
